Ranger UW question.
scince the SF update, all profs can maintain SF.
so, in theory, evry profession can farm Chaos Plains.
i got a Ranger/Assassin, and i thought of the whirling farmer

this will kill the mindblade groups of 6 and 9 pretty fast, well, the group of 9 will be dead in about 5 sec. i think if they don't scatter.
i should remove [Storm Chaser] for maybe a healing skill, cause i use a cupcake. and "By Ural's Hammer" for some PvE skill to kill the dreamriders faster (and wailing lords) cause i don't got that skill
and [Way Of The Master] for [Shroud Of Distress] for some regen and blocks when under 50% hp.
energy should be okay when useing a zealous schythe, cause i used this build
on other foes and it works.
the only thing that bothers me is, i don't know if they will do alot damage, or will they just hit 0's?
anyone used this build in UW? or know how much damage they do vs. rangers?

Hmm, maby it's just me, but i don't see how will you get out of the chamber with this build. Whirling focuses on ranged attack (so it works well against mindblades) but you'll do no damage to melee attackers (aatxes and darkness)

To remedy this issue, he could always take 4 heroes (or if he has a second account that has heroes he could use that account as well) and use them to kill off the first chamber. After everything is cleared, he could leave his heroes flagged back at the start and make his merry way to the ecto fields.
Just an idea. :]

Most Chaos Plains builds I’ve seen make you take 3 heroes with you to help clear the chamber; you then let them die once your outside. Perhaps it would be something similar with this build?

yeah, i forgot to say that, i use 3 heroes, one SoS, 1 monk and 1 nuker to clear chamber
and the grasps before the behemots. after I leave my heroes at behemots, and i run to plains. this should work because the assassin skills that are in the build are the same skills
as my assassin uses to get in plains.
I can farm plains with my sin but i want to do it with my ranger

when I tried the farm with sin the mindblades were hitting me for 1-3 dmg (not sure if I was using the same enchant stacks). But I thought this up the other night: u could always use a drake kabob for a lil extra armor ^^
however, ur definately good on the smaller mobs 3-6-9, I really only started taking significant damage with my sin when I'd balled up a few end groups as in 18-27 spectres. If I remember right anything under 12 was no big deal.

thanks all who posted, I thought of this, if you killed 2 banished dream riders, and at end you got a group of 9 and another group of 9, you might be able (if they don't break aggro)
to run QUICKLY to the skeletons, use whirling and they will explode in just some seconds ! (11 dmg / hit that misses and 18 foes , the foes attack 1 time lill more then a second , so [75% of 18] x 11 = 148,5 dmg evry second and some hundreds of a second... wich will
kill the skeles in about 3 seconds? maybe maximum 5.
i don't know if the sin is able to kill the skele's, I never do them... but if the sin can't, and the ranger could, then this is a great adventage, so you can kill the skele's and you can kill more dreamriders.
i think the best options for the RUNES are:
headgear : blessed insigna + supirior expertise
body : blessed insigna + rune of attunament
gloves: blessed insigna + rune of attunament
pants : blessed insigna + rune of attunament
boots: blessed insigna + rune of attunament
weapon :
set 1) caster staff
set 2) zealous scythe of enchanting
set 3) enchanting spear/axe/sword + focus with +45 hp(while ench.) and inscription "Faith is My Shield" ( +5-10 armor while under the effect of an enchantment wich will be SF)
IF YOU GOT MORE IDEAS OR THINGS TO SAY PLEASE DO SO! IT WILL HELP ME TO CREATE THE FINAL BUILD AND EQUIPMENT :-)
